Don’t Burn Yourself Out

The importance of rest and recovery cannot be understated especially in our hectic modern world. Everyone needs time for a break, all work and no play will drain the life out of anyone. Sometimes what is needed to set yourself straight is a day where all you do is sit around and relax. Sometimes even more is needed. A vacation off to somewhere warm and sunny is always uplifting and should be experienced by everyone once in a while.

Too many people today are burning the candle at both ends trying to compete in the endless rat race. Trying to find happiness yet they are wasting their time and energy in exchange for more material objects that will never make them happy. People need to unplug from this insane world that has been created and get back to a simpler way of living. More fun and less work should be what you strive to achieve in life. I am not saying become a lazy bum or quit working completely, what I am saying is you should work hard for a period of time so as to enjoy a longer period of fun. This is just the reiteration of the old adage “Work to live, not live to work” that everyone in the modern Western world has forgotten about. One in Ten American adults are depressed, obviously the way that we are living is not working for a sizable group of people. The West today is far from the natural order of things, Cultural Marxism has destroyed the family through Feminism, our voices with Political Correctness, and our work ethic with the Welfare State. Corporate Sharecropping is slowly atrophying our souls through their mundane jobs that you have to work so hard to get. Four years of college and thousands of dollars in debt and you have a piece of paper and a new radical way of thinking, and you may or may not get hired.

You’re now a new cog in that soulless machine of the modern American workforce, trained from birth to want garbage material things, and eating garbage food that is killing you, and watching their propaganda on CNN and Fox News, two sides of the same coin. You vote in their elections that feature approved candidates on both sides of the aisle, and you believe you’re making a choice and you have a voice.

The bright side of all this is that you can choose to accept these things or you can toss them by the wayside and live life the natural way by using Game for relationships, reclaiming your voice by speaking anyway or starting a blog or writing articles. We can reclaim our work ethic by working hard for ourselves instead of corporate overloads who don’t care about us in the slightest. If you are in school stop believing all the propaganda they are continually spewing to you, we can start to live each day like it’s our last because it could be.

The Robot Revolution

What if I told you Skynet from the Terminator is a distinct possibility. In the next ten years we will likely see many jobs being taken over by robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This a dilemma we are now facing in the modern age, the question of how we will handle the upcoming wave of automating of most jobs. Robots will soon be handling a plethora of jobs such as fast food service, banking, writing legal documents, and even driving cars for us. This raises the specter that in the future some 45% of job positions will be obsolete. Research also shows that this time it is different in the sense that once these jobs go away there will not be very many new jobs to replace the low skilled workers that were lost in this robot revolution. The gigantic question is what to do with these people who will be nearly useless to the work-force after the automation is completed.

Innovation is usually hailed as a great savior, but what if innovation soon becomes a destroyer? In the upcoming years Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics will become much more mainstream. Previously, only blue collar type jobs were being effected by the automation we are seeing through this new technology. But now AI and Robots are going to begin to start creeping into white collar jobs. A quote by author Bruce Kasanoff of Forbes magazine sums up this coming replacement of humans in the workforce quite well, “From writers (gasp!) to programmers, physicians to researchers, profession after profession will be whittled away by machines that a.) Learn on their own, and b.) Are cheaper to operate than you are.”

We as a society are on the cusp of a major breakthrough in terms of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. For the first time ever, a super computer has beat the Turing Test. As stated by Andrew Griffin of the newspaper The Independent, “A program that convinced humans that it was a 13-year-old boy has become the first computer ever to pass the Turing Test. The test — which requires that computers are indistinguishable from humans — is considered a landmark in the development of artificial intelligence.” There are already robots with the abilities to learn how to do simple low skilled tasks by just observing humans carrying out the tasks (Rethink Robotics).

In today’s global economy the most important aspect is to maximize profit and minimize risks. So it makes sense for businesses and companies to get rid of a huge hinderance to doing those two things, human beings. AI and Robots do not call in sick, they do not show up drunk, they never play office politics, and most importantly you only pay for them once and maybe some lite maintenance. The benefits for companies to start implementing this technology are too gigantic to not happen.

A major point people like to bring up when discussing the rise of AI and Robots is that there are some human professions that can never be replaced by a machine. These professions are things such as a composer, writer, lawyer, bank teller, financial advisor, doctor and surgeon. All of these jobs are slowly being automated or robotized. Computer programs can now write legal code, ATMs have replaced many bank tellers. Wealth management is mostly done on computers as well. It will not be long before a computer can invest in the stock market at more intelligent levels than a human. There is now something called the da-Vinci Surgery Bot which will assist a surgeon during surgery. “With the da Vinci Surgical System, surgeons operate through just a few small incisions. The da Vinci System features a magnified 3D high-definition vision system and tiny wristed instruments that bend and rotate far greater than the human wrist (davincisurgery.com).” Recently, IBM unveiled their Artificial Intelligence computing system named Watson. Watson was featured on the show Jeopardy destroying his human opponents. He is also helping physicians diagnose illnesses in patients. From here it is not a long shot until most of the above jobs are almost totally automated. Because in the end the highest paying professions are the ones in which there is the most incentive to automate or robotize.

New technologies replacing the old is not anything new to humanity. Some examples of this replacement in the past is the decline of the horse. In 1915 the horse population peaked worldwide and has gone down ever since due to the invention of the automobile. Horses were simply not needed as much any longer. Another example is the automation of farming, in the year 1800 a very significant majority of the human population was needed to produce enough food to survive. Slowly overtime technologies like the combine, fertilizer, and irrigation lead to a massive decrease in the number of people working in farming. Today, one man in a tractor can do in a day what previously took a month with 12 people working by hand.

A galactic sized counter argument to the ideas postulated above is that simply if a large number of people lose their jobs or have their wages slashed then no one will have enough money to even buy the products or use the services that Al and Robots create. For this futuristic reality to become real, people have to keep consuming and pursuing material items at the average rates they are today. If there is another downturn or some sort of economic malaise then overall across the board innovation will slow as well.

It is extremely likely that within another decade or so the question of automation of jobs will enter the national dialogue. We will indefinably see some form of these new technologies, whether it is to the extent that somewhere around 45% of people lose their jobs is yet to be seen.

The Corruption of Pathos

Pathos is the most important part of an argument in this day and age especially in America. It is how you win over crowds today. Logic and ethics be damned, if you can win the hearts and minds of the sheeple you will win the argument and thus win the debate. Most people today operate from a ‘feels’ perspective of life, in the sense that if they feel good about something they will accept it. (The is the result of 50 years of Progressive nonsense being shoved down our throats). It goes vice versa in the sense that they can be made to hate something by the way it is presented to them and how it makes them feel.

In the modern age the art of debating and dialogue is dead, its only pathological posturing that seems to be done, serious issues are hardly looked at logically or ethically anymore for the right reasons. Logic and Ethics are used for personal gains and not the greater good. It is a constant me vs you over who can best win the emotional sheeple over. No one can self-regulate their thoughts and patterns to reflect ethics and logic. Evoking emotions in people is usually quite easily done by a skilled manipulator, it takes a Zen master to view something in the three forms to pick the best possible solution to the issue at hand. Emotion is best for simple things but on a large scale it causes very real problems if not put in check.

Pathos ties into ego and ego causes people to make rash decisions when it comes to themselves. It would do most people well to kill some of their negative egotistical attributes. Once you kill your ego you are free in a sense and will start to see the lies and manipulation all around you.

Negative Practices to Balance Reproduction?

A theory I have been thinking about lately has got me thinking, so the best way for this to come to fruition would be to write it out. Here goes, Feminism, Homosexuality, are simply negative checks for a species. By negative checks I mean that once a species has so much wealth, security, resources and the like nature simply starts altering the makeup of how people these are so that they form these negative habits as to slow reproduction. Nature does this simply because these people aren’t needed, they are not critical to survival of the species, so nature alters them so they are highly unlikely to breed. Of course the conditions in a society have to be right so that these negative movements are formed. If you are starving in the Congo or live in a gang ridden nation like Honduras you don’t give a damn about Feminism or Homosexuality, . This is still just a theory, I’m sure others in the blogosphere have talked about things such as these, I couldn’t find anything with a quick search though.

State of Decline

Western Civilization today is in a state of perpetual decline. Nothing is as good as it used to be it seems, the world is going straight to hell. Ebola, Ukraine, Gaza, the tension in the South China Sea, ISIS, Feminism, Cultural Marxism and the fed printing away does not single happy times over the horizon. The West has lived in a state of luxury for too long and any good work ethic or common sense has given way to decadence and stupidity, people no longer even seem to care what happens to the world around them as long as they themselves are immune from whatever negative events are happening. In the coming years I expect tough times economically for everyone in the west, one good positive that may come of this would be a dampening of women’s hypergamous nature which may end up saving beta men and marriage. For everyone else though I would expect a lot of stress in the coming years, to minimize the impact of the coming harsh economic times I would recommend everyone to start buying Gold. Physical assests are the way to go during rough economic times, and by gold I don’t mean gold mutual funds, I mean physical gold you can hold in your hand.

The Decline of the United States started in the mid 1960’s and has continued steadily to get us to where we are today. The Anti-Establishment protests came to a head in 1968, during this time the powers that be gave in to many of the Anti-Establishments demands which are ended up as cultural marxism. In 1969 the United States landed a man on the moon, the crowning achievement of mankind and something it will probably never do again (China may one day achieve this feat). This was done because of the wealth and drive the nation had in prior years, we were still hungry even after our victory in World War II. With the launch of Johnson’s Great Society and the massive change in thought occurring in 1968, and then going off the Gold Standard in 1971 the United States was doomed to a slow decline.

During this slow decline there were times things looked up and it appeared that maybe the United States could go on forever. One of these times was when the Soviet Union collapsed (or did they??) and the United States was left as the only big kid still on the block. But obviously we know how this story turns out. So with everything finally going to shit and the United States now facing everything from QE, a Resurgent Russia, China, the Dollar about to shafted as the reserve currency, ISIS, Ebola, and all the other lovely things happening out there in the world. I would estimate that by 2024 the United States will be a very different place from the 2014 version of itself. It will be interesting to see if the country makes it until 2054 without fragmenting into various different countries.

So with all of this happening out there in the world it would be practical to buy gold, grow a garden, learn a trade or skill, learn Game, not get married, and don’t buy frivolous shit you don’t need.

You Should Be Intermittent Fasting

I began Intermittent Fasting about two years ago and will absolutely never return to eating three square meals a day. I have lost a great amount of body fat and can stay lean year round without having a diet which is strict in nature. I follow a protocol of fasting for twenty-two hours a day while dedicating only two hours to feeding. I no longer get hungry throughout the day and get to eat like a king when i do eat. Along with implementing Intermittent Fasting, I began a strenuous weight lifting program of Deadlifts and accessory exercises on Monday, Chest Exercises on Wednesday, and Squats plus accessory leg exercises on Friday. Since implementing this program i have become vastly stronger and healthier. I would absolutely reccommend Intermittent Fasting to anyone, the health benefits of this lifestyle vastly outweigh any negatives it may have (if there even are negatives). If you wish to follow a weightlifting program while Intermittent Fasting see http://www.Leangains.com .

World War 1: The First Nails in the Coffin of Western Civilization

World War I began 100 years ago this summer and in my opinion was a cataclysmic event for Western Civilization overall, in 1914 Europe controlled most of the world and was a vibrant, technologically advanced, and morally pure society. Fast-forward a hundred years and Western Civilization is slowly dying a slow death from a plethora of macabre ideologies and economic practices from multiculturalism, globalization, Keynesianism, debt, and many more.

This pandora’s box was opened on the battlefields of World War I, a war which did not need to happen and were the first nails in the coffin of so much. As a result of this war, Communism rose in Russia (the ideology from Hell which just doesn’t want to die), the British Empire began its slow death, the breeding grounds for Nazism were created in Germany (which resulted in another unnecessary world war), the Sykes-Picot Agreement was created giving birth to that demon that today is the Middle East.

Some 10 Million men were killed and many more were maimed for life, annihilating an entire generation of men across Europe, no doubt snuffing out many great things they would have achieved had they returned alive or without harm. The war set the stages for the economic boom that we now call the Roaring 20’s in America which ended up resulting in Prohibition and the Great Depression. In the end World War I can be looked at as a European Civil War were the cousins from America somehow became involved. Further into history people will look back at the hundred year period from 1914 until 2014 and lament how Western Civilization destroyed itself through stupidity.

Ketogenic Diets

A Ketogenic diet is a way of eating where you consume high fat, moderate protein, and very low carb. The recommended number of carbohydrates one should consume a day on a ketogenic diet is under 30 grams. If you have a normal diet and decide to switch over to a ketogenic diet your body will go through a process were you enter a state called ketosis. At first entering ketosis may cause you to have a number of flu like symptoms commonly known as the “keto flu”. This should pass after a few days though. While in this transition stage it is hugely important that you supplement certain vitamins that your body may be missing, these vitamins include Potassium, Sodium, and Magnesium.

More information about a Ketogenic Diet can be found here: http://www.reddit.com/r/keto

For information on resistance training while on a Ketogenic Diet see: http://www.reddit.com/r/ketogains

Since i myself adapted this diet a while back i have noticed i can eat vastly over my daily caloric needs by a lot and still lose weight as long as i eat high fat and extremely low carb.

Holding Your Frame

Holding your frame is the idea of not losing your cool or holding your ground when someone challenges you in an argument or some sort of confrontation. For example if you are having a fight with your spouse and you lose your cool and start screaming and yelling, your spouse will undoubtedly start yelling and screaming as well. That is why it is imperative that you always keep your cool and maintain a calm, stoic tone when your are in a predicament or are challenged about something. Giving in too your emotions and freaking out just makes you look like an undisciplined child. Holding your frame will defuse an argument and in the end will help you feel better and the person you are challenged by will see that you are resolute in side of the argument.
